Record your Canadian bank account information on ACORN ‘profile and settings’ before requesting your refund or if you are expecting an award. It takes 2-3 business days for a payment to be deposited in your Canadian bank account from Refund date displayed on your ACORN invoice – see REFUNDS. A refund amount greater than $10,000 requires additional approvals and longer processing time.
Cheque Mailed to Your ACORN Mailing Address:
Ensure your mailing address on ACORN is correct and complete on ACORN prior to making your refund request. It normally takes 2 business days from the Refund date displayed on your ACORN Mailing address to issue and mail a refund cheque. Postal time varies depending on the address. A refund amount greater than $10,000 requires additional approvals and longer processing time. Please note: Cheque production is limited due to the office closure. Cheque production occurs once a week on Wednesday.
