How to finalize Exam Details in the Course Information System

Introduction

The Exam Details module in CIS allows administrative staff to collect final exam scheduling, resources, and other logistical information. The content within the Exam Details module varies by division.

 

Access the Exam Details Module

  1. On your Home Page, click the Exam Details tab at the top.

 

Exam Details Dashboard

The Exam Details Dashboard displays all courses in your department(s) along with the submission status for each course. You can search and filter for any course using the fields provided, or sort the courses by clicking the double arrows to the right of each column header.

  • To view the Exam Details submission for an individual course, click the View button to the right of the desired course.
  • To export a list of all your courses along with their Exam Details submission status and details, click the Download Excel Spreadsheet button.

Exam Details

As an administrative staff, you can review Exam Details submissions to ensure they meet your Faculty's guidelines.

  1. Click each step in the sidebar on the left and review the information shown to ensure it meets your Faculty's guidelines and policies.
  2. If changes need to be made, contact the instructor directly. With the instructor's consent, you may click the Reset Submission button on the top-right to revert the submission to Unsubmitted status, allowing the instructor to edit their submission.
  3. If no changes need to be made, click the final step in the sidebar on the left and click the Finalize Exam Details button to approve the submission.
