Use the Focused Inbox feature in Outlook Web Access (OWA)


Introduction

Sometimes your inbox can become overwhelmed with non-essential messages: social media updates, newsletters, or general promotions. These messages don’t necessarily belong in your junk mailbox, but they can get in the way of your day-to-day work. With Outlook’s “Focused Inbox” feature, you can opt to have these messages sifted to an alternate location, so only the most important emails appear in your new “Focused” Inbox.

Instructions

Follow these simple steps to enable your Focused Inbox:

  1. Click the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

  2. Select Focused Inbox.

  3. If you wish to turn off the feature, you can click on the toggle on Focused Inbox to turn it off.
