Once you have joined the Teams meeting, you will see the following meeting controls toolbar on your screen using the web or desktop app.
From left to right:
It shows how long your meeting has been running.
Turn your camera on and off . The icon will change with a line through the camera when set to off. In this state, other members in the meeting will not see you.
Mute and unmute your microphone. The icon will change with a line through the microphone when set to off. In this state, other members in the meeting will not hear you.
Present content produces options to share PowerPoint presentations or your screen. You can share your whole screen or just a certain window or application. Click the Screen share button and select the screen or window you want to share. Check the Include System Audio box to share the sound from your PC too.
Raising your hand is a great option when you want to let others in the meeting know that you want to speak. Click the hand icon button once to raise your hand. A notification that your hand is raised will appear on your icon and in the list of meeting attendees. Click the button again to lower it.
This button shows the chat conversation between participants in the meeting in a chat window. Here, you can share links and files with all members of the meeting, as you would within a standard Teams text chat.
Select the View participants button to see who is present in the meeting. You can also invite other people into the meeting from this window.
Click to leave the meeting.
