Teams & Channels: Create a meeting for the Team channel


Introduction

When you create a Teams meeting, you can invite the members of an individual team/channel. 

Instructions

  1. Go to your calendar on the Teams application by clicking on Calendar in the left side menu.

  2. Click on New meeting.

  3. Fill out your meeting details.
  4. You will see an option to add a channel. Click on the box Add channel and a dropdown of the teams you are currently a member of will appear.

  5. Select the team/channel you would like to create an event for and then fill out the rest of the event details as normal.
  6. Save the event.
    Save button.
     

Note: It is currently not possible to add a private channel to a meeting invitation.
