If your video does not auto-caption, you can make it do so with the following: 

1. Update video details in the three horizontal dots menu.
2. Manually select English as the video language, then the autogenerate caption file option will check off.
3. Don’t forget to Apply the changes. 

The captions can take some time to process after that.
