Introduction
Use inbox rules to automatically perform specific actions on email that arrives in your inbox. Using inbox rules is helpful if you get many notification emails from a particular source.
Instructions
- Click the settings gear icon, then begin typing “rules” into the search field. When “Inbox rules” appears below the field, click on it.
- Under Rules, click on + Add new rule to create a new rule.
- In the next screen, specify the options for your rule, including the name of the rule, a condition, and an action. Rules can also contain exceptions to conditions.
- Click Save.
