Open a shared calendar from an email notification


Introduction

When someone shares a calendar with you, you should receive an email notification letting you know. You can open a shared calendar from within that email.

Outlook Web Access (OWA)

In the invitation email, click on Accept in the message body.

Outlook on Windows

In the invitation email, click on Accept at the top of the message window.

Outlook on Mac

In the invitation email, click on Accept and add this calendar in the header of the message.

Open the shared calendar

  1. Select Calendar, then Shared Calendars to view a shared calendar.
  2. Choose a calendar to open.
  3. Select View in Overlay Mode to layer the shared calendar over your own.
