Modify permissions for a calendar in Outlook for Mac
General Outlook Calendar Permissions
- Launch Microsoft Outlook.
- Go to the Calendar view by clicking on the calendar icon on the bottom left of the window.
- Select your UTmail+ account in the list at the left, right-click on the calendar and choose Properties.
- In the Calendar Properties window, go to the Permissions tab. The default permission set for any person is to allow them only to see you're busy.
- If you wish to change the Permissions for your calendar, click on the My Organization name and change the Permissions to Not Shared, Can view when I'm busy, Can view titles and locations, Can view all details, or Can edit.
- Click Done to save the settings.
Specific Outlook Calendar Permissions
- If you want to grant specific rights to specific people, complete steps 1 to 5 above, then click the Add "+" button on the bottom left.
- In the new window, type the person's full or partial name in the field, and choose the name from the list below. Then adjust the permissions to give this person from the list of Permissions. Then click Add.
- You will then return to the Permissions tab of the Calendar Properties window. Click Done to save the settings.
