Here's how to add many subscribers to your list at once.
- Create a text file which includes addresses on separate lines. For example:
email.address1@utoronto.ca
email.address2@utoronto.ca
email.address3@hotmail.com
Note: if you are adding more than 1000 subscribers break down the .txt files into maximum 500 addresses per file.
- IMPORTANT: Save the file(s) as plain text (eg. .txt)
- Go to listserv.utoronto.ca.
- In the left hand sidebar, select "Subscriber Reports."
- Choose your list from Select List.
- At the top of the page, you will see a box reading "Add Subscriber." There is a linked line above the box reading "Bulk Operations." Click this.

- A window will pop up with a few options. You can:
- add the imported addresses to the existing list
- Replace all current subscribers with the imported new list
- Remove the imported addresses from the list
- Remove the imported addresses from all your lists.
- Select the appropriate option and use the file browser to find your email list.

9. Find your file and click Open.
10. You should now see the path line to your file in the Input File field. Click Import.
11. At the top of the screen, there will be a response that the addresses have been added.
12. If you have more than one text file of addresses, repeat this process until all the addresses are added to your list.
