Install Cisco Secure Mobility Client

The Cisco Secure Mobility Client must be installed on devices that will be using the UTORvpn service.

Note: This client was previously known as Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. It underwent a name change in June 2025.

If you already have Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client installed on your device, you do not need to reinstall, unless you have an outdated version. If this is the case, your computer may auto-update to the latest version of this client.

If this device is U of T owned/Managed device, see Deploying Cisco Secure Client on Managed Devices (KB0011157)

The current recommended version is 5.1.6.103 or higher.
