The University of Toronto (U of T) provides all community members with access to a Microsoft 365 toolkit. These toolkits give staff, students and faculty access to core Microsoft applications such as Outlook email and calendaring, in addition to a range of other Microsoft 365 applications. Some toolkits offer Microsoft 365 ProPlus, which allows the installation of subscription-based versions of Office apps such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.

You may run Office on up to five machines (Mac or PC). You can also run the Office mobile apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on up to five mobile devices (on various platforms). If you wish to deactivate an installation, follow the instructions in this article to log out of Microsoft 365 on a device.

Only install Microsoft 365 ProPlus if you don’t already have a copy of Microsoft Office on your device. If you have a trial version of Office, you may need to uninstall it before installing Microsoft 365 ProPlus.
