You may experience staff being denied a connection when trying to connect to Cisco AnyConnect > AdminVPN (port.eis.utoronto.ca or admin.vpn.utoronto.ca) as a result of their HRIS status and may receive the error below.
"Login denied. Our records indicate that you are not a current staff or faculty member at the University of Toronto. Please speak to your business officer to have this corrected."
This typically occurs when staff are compensated via room & board (e.g. Residence Dons and Residence Advisors) and do not receive payment in HRIS for a period of time, resulting in the staff's UTORid losing the Active Staff flag on UTORauth.
To resolve this issue, you or your Business Officer will need to make a change on the staff's Monitoring of Tasks (IT0019) screen in HRIS.
Once the change is complete in HRIS, your staff should no longer be deactivated by the system until the end date indicated.
