If you're having connection issues with Outlook or Microsoft 365, there are a few options available to try and fix the issue.
Repair a profile in Outlook
- In Outlook, choose File.
- Choose Account Settings > Account Settings.
3. On the Email tab, choose your account (profile), and then choose Repair.
Use the built-in repair option
- Close Outlook.
- Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Find Microsoft 365 Apps in the list.
- Click Change, then select:
- Quick Repair (fast, doesn’t need internet).
- If that doesn’t work, try Online Repair (more thorough, requires internet).
Repair your Outlook profile
- Open Outlook.
- Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
- Select your account and click Repair.
- Follow the prompts to reconfigure your account.
