UTmail+: Remove an existing email account from Outlook on iOS mobile


When you have an existing UTmail+ account set up and are encountering issues, you can delete the existing account before adding it back to troubleshoot. The error may have arisen because the original account used legacy authentication, which requires you to delete the account and re-add the account while utilizing modern authentication. 

Instructions

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook, and tap on Inbox.

  2. Tap on the Settings icon in the bottom left corner.

  3. Choose the University of Toronto email account from the list of Mail Accounts.

  4. On the next screen, scroll to the bottom and tap on Delete Account.
