Build views in a SharePoint list or library

Views in SharePoint libraries and lists organize and display items relevant to you through filtering and sorting. You can create a personal view (private to you) or, if you have the right permissions, create a public view for other users.

Note: views have a maximum threshold of 5000 items. If there are over 5000 items, there's a risk not all items will be displayed or findable in a search.
