Export Contact Lists from Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and choose Address Book.
- In the Address Book window, select Tools, then Export.
- For each address book you have, enter an export file name and location, select the Comma Separated (UTF-8) format, and then click Save.
- You will now have a CSV file of your contacts that you can import into a compatible mail client, such as Outlook for Windows or UTmail+ on the web (mail.utoronto.ca). You may need to open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel, and change the column headers in the first row to match the preferred format of your mail client.
