1.Click on the search field on the bottom left of your screen and type “Software Center”, then click“Open”.
2.Once Software Center has launched, click “Applications”. You will see software that is available for you to install. Click on “FileMaker Pro 19”.
3.On the “Application details” window, click “Install” to begin the installation of the application.
4.When the installation is complete, click on “Installation Status” to verify that the application has been successfully installed.
5.Once the application is Installed, use the search field at the bottom left of your screen and type“FileMaker Pro”
6.Once FileMaker Pro 19 launches, you will need to add the server to be able to open up the databases. Click on “File”, then “Hosts” and then “ Show Hosts”
7.Click on the “+” and the “Add Favorite Host” window will open. In the “Host’s InternetAddress:” please type this: srvfm19.dentistry.utoronto.ca For “Favorite Host’s Name please user FileMaker Server 19. Then click “Save”, to save the server address.
8.You are now able to access the databases available to you. You can right-click on a database and add it to your favorite’s list.
