Messages students may encounter when using UTsend will be worded in the following ways:
- Your administrator has configured the application to block users unless they are specifically granted access. The signed-in user '[email]' is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator.
- Your administrator has configured the application to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application.
These messages are expected. Students who aren't employed by the university aren't granted full access to UTsend's features (i.e. they can receive and reply to messages and upload items into file requests, but they can't create their own via UTsend).
Resolve the error messages
Try the following:
- Open an incognito browser, paste in the UTsend link, and sign into your UTORid.
- Clear your browser cache, paste in the UTsend link, and sign into your UTORid.
- Use a different device (i.e. computer, laptop, mobile) to access UTsend.
If the error persists, alternate methods to communicate and share/request items through OneDrive or SharePoint are available.
