Follow the steps below to record a MS Teams meeting call and download the video to edit and share on a streaming site.

Recording meeting

Note: Make sure you let everyone on the call know they are being recorded.

  1. In the top right corner, click on the three dots.

  2. Select Start Recording from the menu that appears.

  3. You will get a notice at the top of the call stating that you are recording.

  4. Once the meeting is done, click the three dots and select Stop Recording from the menu.

Downloading Video

  1. The meeting recording should be in either the Files section of your Teams channel or your OneDrive in a folder called Recordings, depending on where the meeting was created.

  2. In the Recordings folder, select your video file, and at the top of the page click Download.
  3. Your file will be saved in the Downloads folder of your computer.

You can now edit your video and upload it to a streaming site (Ex. MyMedia, YouTube)
