Connect to the guest UofT wireless network on Android 10 and higher

Note: Labels for fields and buttons, and how screens are organized may differ slightly from device to device, depending on the version of Android you are running. Screenshots are from Android.

  1. Go to Settings, and choose Wi-Fi.
  2. Turn Wi-Fi on if it is not already.
  3. You should now see a list of available wireless networks. Tap UofT.

    Choose UofT
  4. Make sure the next screen has the following settings. Depending on your device, different options may display.

    • In Identity, type your UTORid
    • In Password, type your password or leave as "unchanged"
    • For CA certificate choose Use system certificate
    • For online certificate status, choose Do not validate OR Request certificate status
    • For Domain, type eva.eduroam.ca
    • For anonymous identity, type eduroam@eva.eduroam.ca
    • For EAP method, it should be PEAP
    • For Minimum TLS version, choose TLSv1.2
    • For Phase 2 authentication, it should be MSCHAPV2
      Leave the other settings as the default.





  5.  Click Connect.
