alumnimail: Set up your @alumni.utoronto.ca account on Outlook iOS mobile
This article is for those that were issued an @alumni.utoronto.ca email account as part of UTORmail decommissioning. If you are still on Alumni UTmail+, which has accounts ending in @alum.utoronto.ca, you should see the articles entitled Alumni UTmail+ instead.
Introduction
Please note: You must have iOS 11 or higher in order to use Outlook.
Remove an existing UTmail+ email account
If you have an existing @alumni.utoronto.ca account account set up on Outlook on iOS mobile, please delete the existing @alumni.utoronto.ca account on Outlook on iOS mobile before adding it.
Add an UTmail+ email account
For a newly installed Microsoft Outlook application
- Open the App Store.
- On the App Store, find Microsoft Outlook and tap the Get button, then tap Install to download and install.
- Open Microsoft Outlook once it’s finished installing. Tap Get Started.
- Type your email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@alumni.utoronto.ca) and tap Add Account.
- Enter your password and click Sign in.
For a previously installed Microsoft Outlook application
- Open the Microsoft Outlook application.
- Tap on Inbox.
- Tap on the Add Email Account icon (white envelope on grey background with a blue plus sign) on the left. In the pop-up menu options on the bottom, tap Add Email Account.
- Type your email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@alumni.utoronto.ca) and tap Add Account.
- Enter your password and click Sign in.
