How to access the Course Information System

This page applies to all users.

Introduction

The Course Information System can be accessed through any modern desktop browser. Users can sign in to CIS with their UTORid and password, as well as UTORMFA (required for administrative staff only).

Multi-factor Authentication for Administrative Staff

Administrative staff such as Registrar's Offices, Department Administrators, and Print Shops are required to be enrolled in the University's multi-factor authentication solution (UTORMFA) in order to access the Course Information System. For more information, refer to ISEA's documentation on how to enroll in and use UTORMFA.

Logging In

  1. Using a desktop browser, go to https://cis.utoronto.ca.
  2. Enter your UTORid and password into the weblogin page.
Note: Administrative staff will also be prompted for their UTORMFA credentials.
