Teams Meetings: Join a meeting with a meeting ID

Microsoft has released a new feature which allows you to join a Teams meeting via a meeting ID and passcode.

Find the meeting ID

1. Log in to your UTmail+ email (mail.utoronto.ca).
2. Go to the calendar tab.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Teams meeting calendar event to see the event details. Then click the expand icon.
   
   
   
   
4. Find the meeting ID and passcode in the invitation details.
   
   
   
   

Join a meeting with a meeting ID

Join on the web

1. Open your browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, etc.).
2. Go to this webpage: Microsoft Teams - Join a meeting
3. Enter your meeting ID and passcode.
4. Click Join a meeting.
   
   
   
   

Join within the Teams app

1. Open the Teams application and login if required.
2. Go to the calendar tab.
   
   
   
   
3. At the top right corner, click on Join with an ID.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter your meeting ID and passcode. Then click Join meeting.
